Underslab gas barriers are becoming necessary components for sites containing high risk factors for naturally occurring gases. Raven gas/moisture underslab barriers are made from state-of-the-art polyethylene and barrier resins to provide unmatched impact strength as well as superior resistance to gas and moisture transmission. VaporBlock® Plus™ is a seven-layer co-extruded gas and moisture barrier designed to restrict naturally occurring gases such as radon and/or methane from migrating up through concrete slabs.
VaporBlock Plus offers the performance you have come to rely on with our proven VaporBlock line combined with superior resistance to gas offering 200 times more protection against methane and other VOC’s than premium polyethylene barriers. VaporBlock Plus meets all requirements of ASTM E-1745, Class A, B & C and is produced under the strict guidelines of our ISO 9001 certified management system. VaporBlock Plus is available in a 20 mil (10’ x 150’) roll along with the select accessory items recommended. Accessory items include (VaporSeal Tape) seaming tape, (Butyl Seal Tape) double sided perimeter tape, and (VaporBoot Plus Kit) pipe boot kits, as well as our multi-pipe penetration epoxy (POUR-N-SEAL) to provide a complete and thorough system of protection against gas and moisture migration.
